About Us
A.N. lncome Tax opened its doors on January 2, 1989, with a mission to serve the tax needs of the Orange County community and the surrounding areas of Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties.
The company’s founder, Arturo Nuñez, first learned how to prepare taxes in the late 1970s. At that time, the IRS mailed tax booklets to households across the United States, allowing individuals to prepare their own returns. Arturo was taught the fundamentals of tax preparation by his brother in Christ, Fr. Loren Gonzalez, who would later become a priest. Before entering the priesthood, Fr. Loren had completed his bachelor’s degree in the late 1970s.
A few years later, Arturo learned that sorne friends from Santa Ana College had opened their tax service offices. He began working there part-time while balancing a full-time job, college studies, and tax preparation during the busy tax season. During this time, Arturo was also raising a growing family-two children, with a third on the way-while helping neighbors, friends, and
family members with their tax needs.
Eventually, Arturo partnered with a friend who operated an immigration services office, which allowed him to expand his tax preparation services to immigration clients. Seeing the growing need for honest, professional tax assistance, Arturo officially opened A.N. lncome Tax on January 2, 1989-a business he has proudly owned and operated for more than 36 years.
As his client base grew, Arturo became known for his integrity, honesty and professionalism.
Many clients were referred to him after experiencing different kinds of problems with the IRS with audits, and collections. He began helping individuals resolve IRS issues while educating them and on proper tax practices to avoid future problems. His commitment to honesty, clear communication, and client counseling has earned him a strong reputation and the trust of the community.
Today, A.N. lncome Tax is a true family business. Arturo’s two sons, Jesus Arturo Nuñez and lrving Antonio Nuñez, have both become respected tax professionals.
Jesus A Nuñez, with more than 22 years of experience, is an Enrolled Agent authorized to represent clients before the IRS. He leads the firm’s tax resolution services, handling audits, tax debts, collections, and other IRS matters.
lrving A Nuñez, the youngest son, has returned to A.N. lncome Tax and is continuing to grow as a skilled tax professional. With over 18 years of work experience-including the last 1 O years as a manager with Walgreens-he prepares both personal, business and corporate tax returns.
Known for excellent personal service, a welcoming smile, and a genuine desire to help, Arturo and his family continue to provide clients with peace of mind year after year. The story of A.N. lncome Tax is still being written-and perhaps in the near future, one or more grandchildren who are in College join the Nuñez family legacy.
